Do we have space for your child?
If there is not a space available, we can place your child on a waiting list and by pre-paying your registration fee a spot is guaranteed. Or, if you plan to start your child at a later date, the registration fee can be paid ahead to reserve your spot.

What are your teacher requirements?
We require our teachers to meet all qualifications for lead teacher, assistant teacher and teacher’s aide. Teachers are responsible to meet North Carolina’s in-service training requirements through continuing education and child development education workshops. North Carolina Law requires all childcare providers to have criminal background checks on a state and/or national level. We require each of our staff to hold current CPR and First Aid cards.

How long has the organization been in business?
Gingerbread LittleVersity is a locally owned chain of three preschools and an Infant Center offering young children a structured program with a “learning is fun” approach. We are family owned and operated with over 25 years of service to Southern Wake County parents.

What are the hours?
We are open Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. We offer care to children aged six weeks to twelve years old. We offer drop-in care depending upon availability of space. We maintain an open door policy, meaning parents can come unannounced at any time of the day.

What is your educational philosophy?
We think of our program as a preschool, not daycare. The mission of this preschool is to support parents in the care of their children by providing a safe and secure place for them to learn, socialize and develop into responsible, intelligent citizens of our community. Our vision is to see the development of an educational program designed to maintain and enhance our delivery of a high quality cost effective preschool. We understand you have a choice in schools and we consider it a privilege that you are considering us to be a part of your child’s life and learning experience.

What are the preshool’s accreditations?
We are a four star center with superior health inspection.
